Community Forum on the Trans-Pacific Partnership

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is an international free trade agreement being written by and for big corporations, at the expense of good-paying jobs, affordable medicine and the quality of the air we breathe, water we drink, and food we feed our children.

Join us to hear local community leaders share their perspective on how the TPP will threaten democracy, labor and the environment. The speakers panel will be followed by community member breakout groups to create a plan of action to defeat the TPP.

Saturday Dec 7, from 2-4 p.m.
First Unitarian Church In the Elliot Chapel
1011 SW 12th Ave. Downtown Portland

It’s time to stop letting politicians in the pocket of big business continue passing “free trade” deals that hurt working families, and instead return to the concept of government of, by and for the people.
